Spring Time in Vancouver
Spring weather is finally here so it is time to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather we get to have. Vancouver has many things going on this spring, the options are limitless, but we are here to help you out of course. Here are 8 Activities to do this Spring in our beautiful city.
8. Take a harbour cruise.
With better weather here it is time to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. With chinook salmon fishing in full swing there is adventures to be had with chartered boats patrolling up the coast or if you are looking for something a little more relaxing, enjoy a gentle drift around the Vancouver harbour where you can sample delicious food, take in the picturesque skyline and if you are lucky get in some whale watching.
7. Go to a Whitecaps FC soccer game.
Now that the Canucks are done for the rest of the season and the Lions don’t begin their season for another couple of weeks, throw your support behind the other professional Vancouver team. The Whitecaps play their soccer in the MLS against other teams across North America, they are one of the better teams in the league, go show your support!
6.Try the new Escape Game.

Grab some friends and check out the newest fad that is sweeping cities across North America. The idea is simple, you and your group are trapped in a themed room with seemingly no escape. When the clock starts you will have to work together to find a way out. It’s a great team-building activity for friends and co-workers.
5. Visit the Richmond Night Market.
If you like great food and carnival games be sure to check out the Richmond Night Market this spring. There is a wide array of vendors to serve you up some of your favourite dishes, and a few vendors that will serve up some food that you’ve never tried before. The market is open for a couple of weeks, so you have plenty of time to check it out.
4. Visit Vancouver Craft Beer Week.
Vancouver’s craft beer scene is as diverse as they come. May 29th will kick off the sixth annual craft beer week which will feature the best local brewed beer the province has to offer. This year’s theme is lumberjacks so start your beard now and get your tickets early because events are selling out fast.

3. Book Your Tickets For The Squamish Festival.
The Squamish Festival doesn’t kick off until the summer, but tickets go on sale this spring. Be ahead of the curve and get tickets ahead of time, you don’t want to be the one who misses out on one of the biggest music festivals in the world. This year the headliners are Drake, Sam Smith, Kaskade, and much more.
2. Shop at your local farmer’s market.
The month of May signals the opening of Vancouver’s farmer’s markets. There is nothing quite like gathering up farmer fresh produce straight from the surrounding countryside and enjoying the local musical talent as you do so. Definitely a great place to visit this spring on a sunny afternoon in Vancouver.
