Moving to Burnaby

Burnaby is becoming one of the fastest growing condo markets in BC.  Access to all popular living areas such as Metrotown, Brentwood, Middlegate, and Lougheed via the SkyTrain system has made Burnaby a popular city to move to. Its close proximately to downtown Vancouver area makes Burnaby an ideal place to live and condos are much cheaper than those found downtown.

If you are moving to Burnaby or from Burnaby and you live in a condo, you will need to make sure that you have your elevator reserved on moving day, and that you look into the access at your current condo and new condo.  Not all  local moving trucks will be able to access your building due to length and height restrictions. Most moving trucks require between 9 and 13.5 ft in available height for access and tractor trailers units (if you are moving long distance) require 80-100 feet to park.  A 5 tonne truck is typically around 30 feet in length and is the most common truck size used in local moves.

So be sure to check with your condo management to book your elevator for your moving day and to make sure that your condo has ample room for your moving truck.  Your  Burnaby Movers will require that this is confirmed prior to your move.
